Words were spoken over two thousand years ago which changed history. In Luke 2, it reads “And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord. And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of heavenly host praising God, and saying, Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, and good will toward men.”

What a glorious message to be heard when the world was in such turmoil, and the people having no hope. We see the same things happening in the world today. But the words spoken then are still being heard today, by anyone who is willing to listen and believe that we need a Saviour, just as they did back then.

God sent a Saviour, and gave them hope. We, who accept Jesus Christ as LORD and Saviour, and believe in His death, burial and resurrection have this hope today. We can all rejoice in the words which were spoken many years ago.

As we enter into the celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ, let us pass this message on to bring hope, peace, love, and good tidings and great joy to others.
