As you look around, what do you see happening in the world today? Disasters and violence are everywhere. The world is in an uproar because of evil forces. But God tells us not to be afraid. “Fear not, for I am with you. Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.” (Isaiah 41:10)

God wants us to remain strong, and to stand. He does not want us to be deceived by what is happening in this world. This is not our home. He said, “A thousand may fall at your side, and ten thousand at your right hand, but it shall not come near you.” (Psalm 91:7) God gives us answers in His word to get us through these troublesome days. And He gives us promises to stand on. But we must read and study His word to know.

So, when you get to that place where you are overwhelmed remember, God is your source. Put your focus on Him. He is His word. He never changes. He is the same yesterday, and today and forever. His word is truth, and He is a faithful God. He said, “Call to me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know.” (Jeremiah 33:3). Put all your trust in Him, and believe what His word says. Remember, All His promises are Yes and Amen.
