If someone asked you how far are you from eternity, what would your answer be? You are only one heart-beat away. At any moment your life can be gone from this earth. Everything that we have in this life, even our lives belong to God. At any moment it can all be gone. We know that we are destine to die, but no one knows when their time is coming. We can only be sure that it is.

Our lives are sealed either for eternal life or eternal death. God gives us the opportunity to choose. “Choose you this day;” for it is this day that you can choose. Today is the day in which salvation can take place. The time is now. “Now is the time of salvation.” Today is the day to accept Jesus Christ as your LORD and your Savior. Tomorrow may be too late. “There is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.” That name is Jesus. And only in that name can we be saved from eternal death. It is freely given to all who will receive it. Will you take a moment now to pray a simple prayer and ask Jesus to forgive you of your sins, and come into your heart and be your LORD and your Savior? Remember, in one heart-beat it can all be gone.
