If Jesus came today, would you be ready? Would your “house” be in order? We have an invitation to “come.” The invitation is extended to all. Luke 14:16-18a tells of a “Great Supper” invitation. “A certain man gave a great supper and invited many, and sent his servant at supper time to say to those who were invited, come, for all things are now ready. But they all with one accord began to make excuses.” Do you have an excuse?
Jesus said, “Here I stand, won’t you please take my hand?” And you said I will, but tomorrow. Tomorrow I’ll give my life. I thought about it today. But it’s so much easier to say, tomorrow. Don’t just turn and walk away; tomorrow is not promised. Don’t let this moment slip away, your tomorrow could very well be here today. Are you just waiting for the right time? Tomorrow may be too late. Better choose the LORD, today.
