Prayer changes things. Throughout the Bible the people prayed.
In Matthew :-13, Jesus provides guidelines for prayer on the attributes and characteristics of God. “Our Father” shows Gods love as a loving father. “Hallowed be thy name” shows Gods holiness as a Holy God. “Thy kingdom come” shows Gods sovereignty as no one above God. “Thy will be done in earth as it is in heaven” shows Gods authority as the Supreme Authority. “Give us this day our daily bread” shows Gods provision for us. He is the source of everything we need. “And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors” shows Gods mercy as forgiveness for our greatest need. “And lead us not into temptation, but to deliver us from evil” shows Gods protection through our trials and afflictions to help us develop faith to trust Him.
In this day and time we need to pray like never before. Remember to pray for our Pastors, our leaders, our nation, the Body of Christ, Jerusalem, and our loved ones. Pray about everything, and remember to give thanks. Philippians :6 says, “Be careful for nothing; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your request be known unto God.”
