As we enter into this “New Year,” let us remember that all things are “new.” God’s mercy and grace are “new” every morning. He said, “Behold, I make all things new.” Each morning when we wake up, we have before us a blank sheet of paper with nothing on it except a cross. All our hurt, pain, sufferings, afflictions, sicknesses, humility, shame, insecurities, condemnation, and all our sins were nailed to this cross over two thousand years ago. Christ already paid the price for us. Start each day with a “new” beginning. The pass is gone and forgotten, and our sins are all forgiven, never to be remembered no more.
This is the beginning of a new year, new day and a new life. Live it as unto the LORD our Savior, who made a way for us. Let this be the year of “Jubilee,” where all men go free. And remember to thank our God that He provided a way for us by sending His One and Only Son to redeem us, to save us, to set us free, and to give us the hope of eternal life. A life filled with all freedom.
So don’t look back over what could have been, should have been or would have been. God has a plan just for you this “New Year.” Therefore, let us forget those things which are behind, and reach forth unto those things which are before. And press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 3:13-14)
HAVE A BLESSED AND HAPPY NEW YEAR!
